Role Overview:
Fantastic new Senior Community Manager based in Ireland!

• A gaming native: although a professional background in gaming is a bonus, most importantly you're a core gamer and consider yourself part of the gaming community
• A leader: you guide teams down the right paths even if they’re unpopular or difficult to traverse; your unshakeable confidence and cool head makes others look towards you when sirens are blaring and all hell is generally breaking loose
• A strategist: you have a deep understanding of the different platforms and channels players use, and a vision for what a thriving community looks like and needs. You’ll help us plan and deliver things in both short and longer terms to bring this vision into reality
• Armed with insight: like the 5-star chef knows their kitchen, you understand the technology, trends, and best practices currently affecting your field; you continually strive to improve your skills while staying in the know about what the competition might be cooking up
• Personable: your outgoing, positive nature is infectious, making it easy for you to create genuine, collaborative bonds and relationships with all types, partner or otherwise; you put your affability to good use, becoming a key voice in the European League community
• A natural communicator: with several years experience engaging with communities your style is unpretentious, unspun, and authentic. You know what it takes for a community to feel heard and will bring that voice into discussions within the Publishing EU team

You Will:

• Work with the multi-discipline Publishing team in Dublin to level-up the player experience across Europe
• Help us build and maintain authentic relationships with players through transparent communications and clever management of our platforms
• Lead and develop a small team of community focused Rioters in building the European League community into something special
• Oversee programs and relationship support for partners and influencers to build out the League ecosystem into something that gives players different ways to engage with League outside of the game
• Design and implement community strategy, considering things like platforms, channels, influencers, partners and more, to help us build the kind of community that League players deserve
• Quickly and effectively respond to the shifting needs of our community as they develop. You will be aware of and monitoring the main social platforms our players use and will raise emergent issues with the rest of the team
• Evaluate our current communications and evaluate areas of opportunity to join the conversation with players, then develop the necessary plans and action
• Tell us what we’re missing in terms of thinking and strategy and help us get better
