Live Operations Manager - London - Up to 50k!

Role Overview:
We are currently recruiting for a Live Operations Manager to join our clients growing team. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will oversee the planning, execution, deployment, expansion, management and support of such titles, coordinating personnel across analytics, production, marketing, business and customer service teams, driven by business objectives in a fast moving environment.


● Work directly with product management, creative director, business intelligence manager, customer service, and community management to coordinate activity and facilitate efficient communication.
● Own the project priority list, taking into account views of each discipline balanced against commercial and customer satisfaction imperatives.
● Drive gains in customer satisfaction by ensuring that key complaints are prioritized and addressed rapidly, through both software and process improvements.
● Monitor retention curves, user reviews and community feedback to quickly spot and act on issues in game updates across multiple platforms.
● Regularly review key performance indicators and sales trends within our online games.
● Oversee execution of sales and live events.
● Develop and test hypotheses with the analytics dept to maximize lifetime ARPU of our customers throughout the world.
● Analyze test results and communicate key takeaways to studio management.

Qualifications & Experience:

● Strong organizational, management and execution skills with prior experience at a senior or director-level of responsibility.
● Minimum 2 years of experience in the planning, development and operating of mobile F2P and online games, software or platforms.
● A good understanding of acquisition, retention, monetization & customer service.
● Understanding of key concepts of Agile project management, specifically SCRUM.


● Strong verbal and email communication skills.
● Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment.
● Highly organized, problem solving personality.
● Self-starter, able to identify obstacles and work through solutions.
● Ability to inspire and motivate those that work for them and those they work around.
● Adept at building relationships throughout the organization.
● Excellent analytical thinking skills, including both the science (e.g., modelling) and the art (e.g., be curious about the business, form and test innovative hypotheses).
● Must be able to effectively communicate risks and obstacles both to managed team members, as well as to senior management.
● Strong industry understanding and knowledge.
● Avid gamer a plus.
