Senior Cinematic Producer – The Netherlands – Salary 51-56K EUR Doe

Role Overview:
This studio is looking for a Senior Cinematics Producer. As the successful candidate you will assume a wide range of duties, including working on in-game, in-engine cinematics with an in-house cinematics team, and coordinating with external vendors for our cinematics needs. You will own the schedule and the budget, and support the Cinematics Director, Game/Art Directors, and the Executive Producer by facilitating communication and information sharing between artists, animators, external vendors, and the rest of the game development team.

As our new Senior Cinematics Producer, you will be:
• Accountable for the long-term planning and requirements gathering, as well as the day-to-day needs of the Cinematics Team.
• Supporting our Executive/Senior Producers with production priorities, delivery targets, regular reviews, and task deadlines necessary to meet milestone deliverables on time and within budget.
• Tracking the external dependencies needed for each and every shot, and communicating those dependencies to other departments and/or external vendors.
• Working with the Cinematics Team to break down the work required for each and every shot, and tracking that work from introduction to delivery in our project management system.

• You have 5 years of experience working on Cinematics Teams as a producer/ technical project manager, on at least 2 shipped AAA games.
• You possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
• You have experience with tracking work and mitigating risk.
• You have a high level of technical proficiency, and are able to understand the requirements of integrating cinematics with a proprietary toolset into a proprietary engine.
• You’re able to effectively communicate with artistic and technical personnel.
• You’re self-motivated and able to take the initiative as the need arises.
• You’re able to switch between day-to-day firefighting and high-level planning and budget responsibilities.
• You have an attitude that says, “we’ll make it happen”.
• You possess an understanding of the complete cinematics pipeline, including MOCAP, facial scanning/rigging/animation, shot selection, scene layout, etc.

• You have knowledge of Maya, Morpheme, background in animation.
• You have affinity for games and the cinematics found within them.
