Role Overview:

Based in beautiful Ljubljana, Slovenia, this studio is a fledgling publisher and experienced development team with an extensive background and history in video games. We don’t just make games though, we also work in the lucrative casino industry. Working with cutting edge technology to produce the most exciting casino gambling experiences, including our own virtual dealer hologram technology.

We have a relaxed open office with free breakfast and fruit every morning. Every Friday is Game Jam day, and you get to work on your own pet projects, anything from small mobile projects to larger more adventurous projects. If we can publish it you’re free to make it. We even split the profits 50/50.

This studio is now seeking an accomplished sound designer to join our audio department. As part of the audio team you will be expected to contribute to all areas of the audio process and show strong technical and creative abilities. Excellent communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work as part of a team and contribute innovative solutions.

o To create sound effects using location/studio recording, Foley recording and utilising pre-recorded in-house and commercial material;
o Inspire other teams members and departments with awesome soundscapes.
o Work closely with the Production staff to ensure that audio assets are delivered in a timely manner and to a high level of quality;
o Validate audio content against technical guidelines and best practices.

Desired Skills and Experience:
• At least 5 years experience in creating audio for games and a proven record of audio excellence;
• A passion for sound design and a clear understanding of the technical requirements and issues present in making audio for games;
• A strong and demonstrable creative vision;
• Highly organised and able to identify opportunities for greater efficiency in processes and workflows;
• Experience creating audio pipelines;
• A high degree of proficiency using professional audio software and hardware.
• A strong knowledge of field recording, Foley, microphone and professional audio equipment;
• An expert level understanding of microphone techniques, signal flow, recording and mixing practices;
• Excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and an inspiring strong work ethic;
• Excellent written and spoken English.

o Scripting knowledge.
