Role Overview:
Creative Director – Newcastle, England – Salary DOE
Working cross studio the creative director must maintain and communicate the game vision and drive the quality expected of today’s AAA titles. The successful candidate will also be required to provide creative direction studio wide and drive innovation.

Job Responsibility:
• Communicating the vision and maintaining the tone to the development team.
• Setting clear creative goals and driving innovation for the studio.
• Set and maintain creative quality standards to the team, including internal and external partners.
• Work effectively with Production and Design to foresee any possible threats to quality and innovation.
• Foster positive working relationships and teamwork within the studio to drive innovation to the standards of a lead studio.

Requirements:
• Minimum of 7 years of significant experience in the video game industry.
• Deep experience working on AAA console titles as Lead Designer or Creative Director - at least 2 shipped titles from concept to shelf in either role.
• Experience with various game genres.
• Capable of providing focused and inspiring creative leadership.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to produce articulate design documentation.
• Passion for the industry and an understanding of market trends and styles.
• Willing to accept and provide direction, work well under pressure, and handle multiple tasks.
