Games experienced Audio Director required. This is a rare opportunity to join a seasoned, creatively driven studio with a proven audio track-record and a strong audio team. Qualified individuals are expected to communicate and collaborate well throughout a development team. Candidates will have a proven track record in audio design and management. Candidates are versed in audio integration techniques, interactive music, as well as demonstrate experience with current console creation techniques. The Audio Director has a deep understanding of popular trends in music, SFX including Foley, vocal recording, and mixing. All candidates must deliver a full resume with samples to be considered for this position.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for audio design and implementation of game audio for all studio titles
The Audio Director is responsible for the performance of the audio team
Give appropriate feedback to improve the creative process in a collaborative environment and be a positive and creative force in the team.
Will capably and consistently meet project deadlines and milestones
Responsible for cross-project planning and quality for all audio assets
QUALIFICATIONS
• 5+ years as professional Audio Designer or equivalent experience
• Minimum of at least one current console generation title
Passion for the industry and an understanding of market trends and styles
Understanding of the game development process
Have a proactive work ethic, capable problem solver who is not afraid of big challenges.
Meriting
AA/BFA/MSc preferred
• Experience from multiple game titles
