In this position, you will work on high quality GUI application tools. You will be involved in the design, implementation, maintenance, and supporting of those tools
Job Summary:
• In this position, you will work on high quality GUI application tools. You will be involved in the design, implementation, maintenance, and supporting of those tools.
Requirements:
• Demonstrate a strong problem solving ability.
• Ability to work well both within a team and individually.
• Good attention to detail, keeping in mind time constraints, and available resources.
• Design, implement and evangelise re-usable code components while using good coding practices and techniques.
• Research and develop new concepts or improve existing methods for use in code components.
• Complement component design with high quality and consistent regression testing methods.
• Work proactively in identifying current and future requirements of tools.
Mandatory experience:
• University degree level or equivalent in mathematics, computer science, physics, electronic engineering or related subject.
• Demonstrate working an application architectural level, whilst remaining aware of low level efficiency.
• Comprehensive GUI application coding and design
• Comprehensive Microsoft.Net 2.0 C# with Windows Forms
• C++/CLI experience
• Writing efficient C++ code
• Some 3D graphics experience
• Able to demonstrate specialised programming skills and a strong ability to manage their own work.
Desirable experience:
• Demonstrate experience of using design patterns
• Multithreaded GUI application experience
• Work on one or more computer game titles
• Advanced computer graphics programming experience, including shaders
