Position Summary

The Producer will lead and direct the team from the creative perspective of development. He/She will balance schedule needs with creative imperatives; push for quality and innovation while managing both quality and time.

Position Responsibilities

• Analysis of market, customers and competition in regards of company’s product development
• Definition of short-, mid- and long-term strategy. Developing and driving the long term project strategy in collaboration with senior and executive management and external partners
• Coordination with all disciplines (management, design, art, programming, audio and animation) to ensure the project's vision is stable and clear. Own and communicate the product vision both internally to the team and stakeholders, and externally to the press and external partners
• Definition of concrete, consistent development goals for all departments in accordance to the business strategy
• Contribution of innovative and original ideas towards all aspects of game production and development
• Control whether goals are consistent to company performance and to project status. Work closely together with project manager
• Maintaining a constant team awareness and understanding of competitive products, industry trends, and consumer expectations
• Effective communication with team development managers to ensure consistency, quality, and execution in all aspects of the game
• Setting, definition and control of design and development priorities according to the company goals
• Resolving of design and sub-goal conflicts throughout development
• Approval of major design matters, guidelines and processes based on goals

Position Duties

• Mentor single team members and leads and provide constructive feedback (not decisive)
• Work out creative fact sheets and pitches
• Work out strategy plans for reaching given goals in regards to the needs in all departments
• Check regularly consistency of the vision among all team members and ensure that the team shares the same vision
• Prepare overall vision / strategy documentation, visualization and presentation
• Weekly strategy meetings with all creative leads and producer to discuss and uphold company vision and goals
• Inspire and motivate the team on a day to day basis
• Effectively balance the design needs of the game with the game’s budgetary and scheduling requirements
• Evaluate all assets and game, ensuring these meet the quality standards set by Management and Publisher
• Identify and remove roadblocks that prevent the team from performing to their highest potential
• Provide regular status to the team, including conducting performance reviews with leads and Company Directors

Position Qualifications/Requirements

• Proven ability to interface all facets of production (Engineering, Design, Art and Production)
• BSc, BA, or equivalent in a relevant subject
• Previous Executive Producer/Creative Director/Creative Producer or equivalent responsibility with track record of quality products (completion of one or two titles)
• 5 years experience working on AAA multiplayer shooters
• Demonstration of advanced experience with current multiplayer design
• Being an avid gamer with a passion for creating great games
• Strong experience in the online space, preferably in the MMOG, social networking, or first-person action categories
• Experience managing projects across geographic locations
• Good knowledge of the free-to-play/freemium business model
