We are searching for a well-respected, well-connected creative and energetic Director of Public Relations to evangelize our award winning sports brand and products. We’re the best at what we do! Are you?

SUMMARY: Develop and manage all communications strategies and programs, as well as directing all public relations activities.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead all US PR efforts: define media coverage objectives for each product and plan product launches, media interviews, press tours, and events.
Collaborate with executives, product managers, developers to develop strategic plans and manage both internal team and external PR firm throughout implementation.
Lead and manage development of internal public relations team.
Develop relationships with industry media contacts and serve as spokesperson when appropriate.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with partners and developers.
Keep team and executives informed about industry news and monitor perceptions and reviews of products and the Sports brand.
Manage product PR budgets.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, or Journalism
7+ years of successful, progressively responsible public relations experience, including experience managing an internal PR team and working with PR agencies.
Journalism and/or agency background a plus.
Videogame industry experience a plus.
Sports-specific PR experience highly preferred.

Skills:
Excellent interpersonal, planning, and written and verbal communications skills.
Confident leader with ability to persuade and positively influence
Energetic self-starter with ability to work as part of a team as well as individually.
Ability to work flexibly under pressure in order to deal with multiple changing business priorities.
Must have and be willing to demonstrate a track-record of creative and unique approaches to PR activities, events and stories.
Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Strong PC skills, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
