• Participate in the conception of the game in collaboration with the core team (Creative director, Lead game designer, Art director, etc) in order to improve the game experience
• Define the sound environment of the game (style)
• Manage the audio production budget and make the necessary decisions according to it
• Define the technical aspect/challenges of the sound design
• Communicate with programmers in order to improve the tools and add new features to the sound engine
• Participate in the evaluation and production of the audio content not included in the game such as trailers, marketing promotion, etc) Manage the sound integration in the game
• Define the SFX list m Foleys, dialogue, music and other sounds and take the necessary arrangements to have them produce
• Create some of the SFX
• Validate the quality of sound produced and ask for corrections if needed
• Plan the sound production for the game and ensure the follow up of the milestones
Profile :
• Music or sound diploma or other relevant academic background
• Minimum 5 years experience in video game sound design
• Experience in sound design on AAA titles
• Excellent knowledge of Nuendo, Pro-tools, Sound Forge, Adobe Audition or other audio software
• Experience as a musician and/or compositor
• Knowledge of audio equipments and SFX librairies
• Capacity to lead recording sessions (voice and Foley)
• Strong leadership
